At last we have a real hidden object game on our hands and this is the best that we have come across in recent times. We all must have come across a lot of games that had marvelous visual effects, but Drawn – The Painted Tower is a game that surpasses all the others in its league. This game has some real good graphics that is going to transfer you to a complete new world where even an image feels real! That is not all; you are bound to get all the other hidden object gaming elements (in generous doses) that would quench all your gaming thirst.

Great game play and mind-blowing puzzles are the USPs of Drawn: The Painted Tower. This game has loads of surprises in store for an avid gamer and you are definitely going to enjoy every bite of this game. The story of the game goes something like this: A kingdom is the victim of evils and the only light of hope is the legend doing the rounds that a girl called Iris will be the savior of the ill fated kingdom. Iris is imprisoned at the Painted Tower where she creates the imaginary paintings of the world with the help of her magical powers. Now, you are to act as the savior of the girl and help her escape out of the tower. Only when you set her free, she will be able to pull the kingdom out of the mire.

Well, one can find a touch of the hidden object gaming in the name but the game provides a lot more than the normal hidden object gaming wherein you the developers are offering us an interesting story, puzzles and above all graphics that look bear the out of the world look. Finding the hidden objects does not hold anything new for the gamer but there is not even a single glitch that one can spot in the scenes. The mini games are pretty well etched out and are also placed at the right places. They pop up only when they should and none of the mini games or puzzles seems to be forced. Mini games are optional and one can definitely opt out if things get a little boring. You also have the usual pieces of inventory items to collect that have to be put to use at other places. The hint system is also available in case you get stuck anywhere but repeat use takes a little time as the hint meter needs to recharge from time to time.

Conclusion: The visual effects that each scene produces are a treat in themselves and there are even animated creatures like the grasshopper. The music is equally excellent and even the voiceover is of a very high quality. I felt like being a part of a wonderland and never wanted to come to an end. This game may be a little short as far as the time is considered but a sequel is what I am waiting for after experiencing this beautiful journey.
