    Magic Encyclopedia: Moon Light review

There is something in these new games that use both the Hidden object gaming elements as well as the elements of adventure gaming. For instance, games like Dream Chronicles: The Chosen Child and Mystery Case Files: Return to Ravenhearst is few of the games that really mixed both the elements of HOG as well as puzzle filled adventure games intelligently to produce a game that really was enjoyable and challenging. Vendel games have come up with another winner from their stable and this time it is Magic Encyclopedia: Moon Light. It has even gone a few notches higher in terms of its production value than its predecessor.

The game starts with sweet and charming Katrina gets a call from her brother and goes on to investigate the sudden disappearance of the professor. Katrina goes round the world in search of clues and while investigating the disappearance finds out some facts that can send a chill down anybody’s spine. She finds out a dark secret behind the disappearance and also gets to know about the curse of the werewolf.

Unlike all the other HOG games, you are not required to find the hidden objects in a clustered room or location. Instead you are required to find different parts of a single object to complete the object. For instance, you will have to find the 4 parts of a clock or statue and compile the same. Now, this is one of the most challenging things of the game because the parts are so well concealed in the scenes that you are bound to find it difficult. You may have to swap between two different screens to complete an object and also you may have to look at different areas of the screen by zooming on them.

There is a lot of use of the items that you compile and you have to use them to solve the puzzles in the adventure games. One may think that using the complied items can be tough to use but it is not so as the hint system of the game gives you the ideas on how to put the item to use. Now, let me provide you with a small statistics and it is that you have to find out 19,000 hidden objects that are hidden in the 32 stages that the game has.

Conclusion: The biggest advantage ad well as disadvantage in the game is that you do not have a clock ticking at your back and also there are no penalties for random clicks. You are able to avail the hints by simply clicking on the crystal ball. The graphics presented in the game is really very beautiful where the hand drawn scenes look rally amazing. The music is also compliments the scenes very nicely and all this increases the production values by quite some notches. With every sequel we feel that things are going from better to the best. There is only one problem and that is you cannot enjoy the game if you play a scene twice because the things hardly change. All in all a game that is as good as it looks!
