    Magic Encyclopedia review

The Alawar Entertainment’s runaway popular game “Magic Encyclopedia” is one of the best in the hidden object games genre. Yes, we all know that due to some technical glitches the game had hit the rock but now the game has been made bug free. One can now play the game and enjoy the goodies it has to offer. The game is entertaining to the hilt and one can expect to get the best from it without ever having to worry about any technical bugs.

Magic Encyclopedia is a game that follows the fresh style of animated introduction and avoids the much treaded comic book style. Catherine, the protagonist, is just out her Academy of Magic after having completed her exams. She receives a message scribed on a paper bird’s wings. The note transports her to a jungle where she finds out a dragon that needs to be stopped. In order to do so you have to travel the whole world with the help of your magical knowledge. Locations of your search include places from Africa to South America.

The game follows the regular patterns of a hidden object game and you are to find yourself amidst a busy scene like the temple of the Mayan era. Here you have to search for certain items and it is not very easy to carry out the task. The list is not visible at the corner or bottom and instead you will get to see the item which is broken into pieces in the scene. You will have to collect each piece and give shape to the final item. An item gets completed only when you end up finding all the pieces.

The items that you find out take a place in your inventory and this is the best thing that can happen to a gamer. This is one element that makes the magic Encyclopedia unique. Now the item that is added in the inventory can be used to solve various puzzles (there are plenty of interesting puzzles to add a fun factor to the game). There is no time limit for the players to play each scene and one can complete the tasks with ease; you can even go on a clicking spree because there is no penalty for the same. The graphics of the game is just amazing because you will realize that all the items that are present in each scene have been hand drawn.

Conclusion: Music and Graphics complement each other very nicely and the music keeps on changing with every scene. Mini games are just awesome and they range from a water pipe to a Tower of Hanoi puzzle. So there are ample chances of entertainment throughout the game. This game will work like a new lease of life for the gamers who are bored to the hilt by the boring hidden object games that are deluging the market. The game has everything that any hidden object game should have. It has the right graphics, music, puzzles, mini games, adventure and thrill to mesmerize the gamers.
