Matchmaker: Joining Hearts Online
December 29, 2010
Your task is to be Helen Jones the matchmaker and to help some lonely hearts find their perfect couple. Search for the hidden objects in their houses and get to know about their habits and hobbies!
You are going to be browsing through people’s houses and cars and analyse the found objects. All this looks very much like a detective story, and Helen Jones looks very similar to the famous Ms Marple. And the theme is pretty unique.
The game has two modes – with limited and unlimited time, however, the unlimited time option is only available for the full version of the game.
At each level of the game, objects to be found are indicated at the bottom of the screen – either in a form of a list of things or in the black shapes of the objects.
Hints are available that show you exactly the location of the objects. Hints are unlimited! You get penalised for random clicking by losing the time – once you start to click ramdomly you will get a warning message.
All in all, the game is not at all challenging and pretty tedious because of the same action you have to repeat lots of times, and on top of that objects often repeat. The graphics leaves a lot to be desired, and the scenes are often too messy and crammed with bunches of objects. You can try playing it just for a change, but generally I would not recommend it for the wide circle of gamers.
