Have you ever dreamt of winning a lottery? In most cases, you can’t win a lottery without paying for a ticket. So this game Mystery P.I. – The Lottery Ticket, is all about winning a lottery, losing it and then finding it again. In the game grandma Rose has won a lottery ticket but she lost it immediately when the winner was announced. Thus she hires a private investigator for searching the ticket out. She keeps a condition, that if the ticket is found within 12 hours, then she will pay 20 million dollars to the investigator. Although this is just a game and you can’t retire the game money but certainly you will feel that you will actually own million bucks once you have tracked down the ticket.

The game stands apart from all the other flurry of hidden objects games in the gaming arena since it has a fascinating storyline, some unexpected twists and some great mini game stuffs. The story and the mini games are the best parts. It has one mini game only known as memory cards. In the mini stuff you need to find 20 keys for unlocking the bonus game mode. In the main game you can actually search in for over 2000 items at different locations along with a few bonus locations.

Probably if the gamer is new to this profession of a private investigator then searching for the various items will be much easier. The list of items is pretty short in this game and even the number of locations are few. But as the game progresses, the experience of the gamer increases and so the points and thus as the gamer proceed further, he will get more items to find and in more locations. In the earlier stages you will find about 20 objects to find while later it would increase to 80. Finding 80 items seems challenging isn’t? But what to do? – this game compels you to continue hunting.

The game is more challenging with the tricky items to find like the “5 pots” or “4 masks”, “3 apples” or “the 2 hammers”. So with five items to locate you would naturally think that you will have to visit five different places. But unfortunately, it’s not that case. The experienced gamers often search for the color of the scenes for finding the items but that may not work all the time. A few scenes are underwater and finding objects from there will certainly give a new perspective. The game has a wide range of objects and variety of scenes but sometimes the few scenes are repetitive. Some times the identical colors of the items may create a problem for the items to choose. It may be some graphical problems but can lead to serious problems while playing the game.

Conclusions: In a few scenes the game is a little frustrating and sometimes the list of items may confuse the gamer. It is a long game and while playing it’s a blessing and a curse as well because it has many items to hunt and at the same time becomes boring. However Mystery P.I. – The Lottery Ticket has an edge certainly.
