Nick Chase: A detective story is bound to blow away your imaginations because it presents you with one of the most interesting games of its genre. This hidden object game is made even more interesting because of the adventure laden story line and simple yet amazing puzzles. Nick Chase gives you the nostalgic feeling about the detective stories that we used to feed on during our pre-teens while following him on his first adventure in this game. You will be part of an interesting adventure where you are going to visit places and meet characters that are shady to the tee. You will have to solve puzzles and put all the missing links together to solve the mystery. Bewildering graphics used in the game is going to push up the game appeal by quite some notches.

The game starts with the detective who is in search of a job, getting a call from mysterious person called The Collector. Nick accepts the offer and then you will have to start with the first puzzle. In this you need to get to the brush for cleaning the fish tank and then move on to get some food for the fish in the tank. Well, the puzzle is quite a simple one but an introduction of the things to expect in the later stages.

It is very easy to find out the mission you are working on by looking at the bottom left of the screen where it is recorded under the TASK. Most of the missions involve finding objects while updating the inventory. You also will be required to solve some puzzles and mini games during the game. For instance, there is a mini game where you will be in a scientist’s lab to test a sample of blood. But it is not that easy because you need to find the contraption parts and integrate it before finding out the way to switch the machine on.

The story is unfurled matching to the style of comic books where all black and white shades of scenes record the happenings. This style of story presentation makes the things even more interesting by giving the whole game a touch of the silver screen drama. The plot of the story is very strong and works as the binding factor in the whole game. An example of one such Hollywood style is the presentation of hints which are inscribed on a bullet that’s loaded on a revolver. One needs to click on the barrel to get access to the hints.
