Real fans of hidden object game who keep on searching for something, for them the game “Something Special” could be more interesting! That’s the reason I opt for “something special” yes it’s the game. But no don’t go with the name of the game because there is nothing special in the game.

“Something special” is a romantic comedy hidden object game which will take you in a journey around the country with Zoe. Zoe is the lead character in the storyline of the game and she searches for something special in every point with the help of her aunt Zandra. But sadly the game itself is nothing so much special as the name reflects.

Aunt Zandra and Zoe, who is the bridesmaid in her sister’s wedding, look quite similar and this has been the talk of the town. Whenever Zoe is asked why she is unmarried till now, a prompt answer comes that she is haunting for something special. Aunty sends Zoe on a whirlwind trip around the country in famous workshops of her friends by taking the advantage for their similarities. In the whole trip Zoe search for something special because she thinks certain things will indicate about her life. She met several colorful characters such as Felipe and Tony, colorful shops where she came to know many surprising things about her aunt Zandra. Moreover she also learned to recognize herself.

The game has different levels: easy, medium and hard, but there is nothing special about the categorization of the level. It’s only that you have to find different objects in each level. Rather there is some realistic adventure in every level, which will take you in different state and with different attractions from where you to choose in any order.

Once you find an object it will be listed along the bottom of the screen six at a time and as one object is located another one appears in its place. At the bottom of the right screen you will find a red line, drawn around the image which virtually displays a shopkeeper image. Each level of this game contains unlimited hints and no time penalties. That makes the game unexpectedly less interesting and boring at times.

Each object is awarded with 20 points but you can not progress till you find all of them and the most rigorous point is you can never go through the sum total of points throughout the game. There are no any mini games or puzzles.

Conclusion: “Something special” has a nice storyline but it will not give you that option to play the game repeatedly. The 47 levels of the game have sweet attractive locations in the United States; this is the only mode of the game I have enjoyed as they are the most attractive part of the game. “Something special” is not at all a promising game so before you purchase the game I suggest trying the demo of the game. It will help you to decide whether it will be that hidden object game you are searching for?
