Treasure Seekers: Visions of Gold review

We are being flooded with hidden object games on a daily basis but are there many that we remember after getting up from our computer screen. Not many! Yes, in this deluge of hidden object games there are a very few that are worth remembering or even worth mentioning. Treasure Seekers: Visions of God is just one of the few hat are worth mentioning or playing.

The story of Treasure Seekers: Visions of God is about two siblings who try to find out some of the old secrets of their family. One may find the story to be boring, but believe me the way it has all been knitted would change the outlook of any gamer towards the game. You would find everything so logically set in the game that it never feels that you are being made to do tasks that hardly hold any meaning in the context of the game.

The game breaks the conventional system of hidden object gameplay and in the beginning itself you are placed at Emily’s room. Here you are asked to collect the items and arrange them at various corners of her room. Now, you would not be provided with any list of items that you have to find. Instead your mouse will glitter and the moment you click on it, it will reveal the silhouette of the items you are supposed to find out. Now, you have to find out the item and drag the same into the circle to collect it. There are also chances that you would not find a particular item till the time you look at another item in the scene. You may also have to solve a puzzle to get hold of the last item in a scene. The good news for puzzle lovers is that you can expect up to 6 puzzles in a scene.

Neither do you have a timer nor do you have penalties for random clicks. So go on a clicking spree, if you at all wish to! There are also lesser chances of getting stuck in a single scene; you can always click your way out! There are ample hints, but it takes a little time to get refilled, so use it prudently. There are mini games that help a player to get on with the adventure section. There are a few board games and puzzles that make things really interesting. The mini games are very easy to play but you can even skip them at your will. You may also be asked to find multiple items in a scene.

Conclusion: Treasure Seekers: Visions of Gold is a fun game though it cannot be put in the elite class of HOG games. There are some illogical things that a gamer has to do, but these are minor things and do not affect the overall gameplay. There are some items that look alike and can confuse you. Now, if you just ignore these few small glitches then you will find that the story, graphics and the music all gel together to provide the best gaming experience.
