Hannah Harlow is the most famous designer and she is searching for the next design queen who would be featured on her much coveted TV show. You have to impress Hannah if you wish to book a berth on her show. No, it is neither your looks nor your certificates that would earn you the place but only designing skills. You are about to start designing when you find out that there is tycoon who is planning to pull down the shutters in yard sales. Now, you cannot afford to lose the golden opportunity, so you do your bit to salvage your dream!

This is the beginning of the interesting journey called Yard Sale Hidden Treasures: Lucky Junction and this is in fact one of the best in the genre of hidden object games. In the beginning of the game you will have to find out some good designs to show your skill to Hannah. Later on things take a completely different turn and you see yourself investigating for clues behind the somber face of Van Snobb. For carrying out the investigation as well as the designing works, you need to visit the yard sales to find out the designing fragments as well as the clues. You are the one who will be designing great fixtures, furniture and also artifacts.

Well, you are required to visit to your neighbor’s house (obviously on their request) to fix something or the other. For instance, you need to rejuvenate Sandy’s home to give it a all new feel and vibe or you have to provide a new nursery to R. Master’s baby. To fix up the rooms you will have to find out the items in a list and see which items need what to give it a complete new look. Now, you will have to move to the yard sales where you will collect different scrap looking items to give shape to all new items like making ceiling fans from bamboo stick, hand fans and a motor that was scrapped. This is where your designing streak will come into play and you have to design things that are going to even surprise your inner designer. Well, it is much easier for you to design because you do not exactly have to design things but you will have to just find the items in the list.

There is humor at every stage of the game and this is why I really felt good to be at a Lucky Junction. The characters have been etched out for the entertainment of the gamers and really we were amused by S.Keymo, the igloo dweller and the airplane dweller Rick Hoffen (wild ideas create the right magic!). You can ignore the somber looking and sometimes threatening Von Snob, because you will discover that it was nothing more than a threat.

Conclusion: Yes, the game has its own downsides that play spoilsport for such an interesting game. The mini games where you are required to assemble the furniture, frustrates you though the finished product looks good because you will have to assemble them with great trouble. You have also the chance of opening the Tour mode and this can make things really interesting. The graphics and the sound are good and you will not regret playing Yard Sale Hidden Treasures: Lucky Junction.
